Our first real foray into E-learning delivery has finished. Classes wrapped up a couple of weeks ago and now students are finalising their assessments. Six students have so far completed everything so have passed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
We have had some great feedback from the students about their experiences in coping with Blended delivery. Some have found it more enjoyable than others but most have enjoyed the challenge and appreciate the added skills they have gained from the e-learning component of the course.
Now we will be spending some time preparing our final report. We are also presenting at the upcoming conVerge Conference. Our presentation will provide some ideas and tools to “Beat the Barriers” to e-learning.

As time moves on from “Finishing” you start to have time to look back on the Cert IV TAA and all it entailed. My thoughts and views in the next 3, 6 and 12 months will probably differ from my thoughts now as the information learnt is digested, re-processed and even put to use. I cannot thank you and Gabby enough for your support – you seemed to know when it was needed. I must thank Jo, Marita and Sisi as meeting with them as “study buddies” was invaluable and I have the bonus of having made new friends. Though there were ‘moments’ while studying, I am glad I have achieved this certificate.

Thanks for your comments. We have had the added benefit of making some new contacts and friends. Lets all stay in touch via YNH Tutor Ning and develop a really strong Community of Practice.
