Using E-portfolios

As part of the blended model we wanted to explore the use of e-portfolios for students to submit their work. 

 I had used Mahara e-portfolios for a number of Recognition of Prior Learning assessments.  I found this an invaluable way of providing detailed and organised evidence to the Tutor.  The Tutor was able to download and save or print any of the information required. 

So students in our course were required to submit their assessments for the Facilitate e-learning unit of the course.  We chose to only expect them to use it for one unit so that it did not become an onerous chore but we will be encouraging them to use it for further evidence if they so desire.  This is one students effort!
